Image Wear's donation brings joy to Viljandi Children's Home
Image Wear makes an annual donation to improve the well-being of communities in the places where we have the opportunity to make an impact. For several years now, the donation has been made to Narva, Estonia, where our own production facility is located. This time, we allocated part of the community donation to our other Estonian production location, Viljandi.
100 movie tickets for the Viljandi Children's Home
In Viljandi, we donated 100 movie tickets to the Viljandi Children's Home, Viljandi Sihtasutus Perekodu (SA Perekodu). The tickets will be distributed to seven children's home units, and they will bring joy to both the children living in the home and the children who visit it daily and need help and support.
The donation was received by Kairi Tamre, head of the family home's rehabilitation team, and Inge Tiido, deputy director. The donation was handed over by Image Wear's quality manager Ave Treimann and production manager Sanna Lainio, as well as Ruth Kütt, foreman at Image Wear's Viljandi factory.
Perekodu offers help and support to children and families with children
Sihtasutus Perekodu is a foundation established by the Viljandimaa Omavalitsuste Liidu, and offers a variety of care, education and rehabilitation services to children and families with children from Viljandimaa. If necessary and possible, the foundation also offers services to clients from outside the province.
The foundation's mission is to support the social survival and well-being of children and families. The mission of the family home is to provide appropriate education, rehabilitation, developmental support and guidance to children in need in cooperation with people and a network that is meaningful to the child.
The main office of the family home is located in the village of Jämejala, Viljandi municipality. The office houses, among other things, the foundation's office, the rehabilitation team and the Jaagu kindergarten-comprehensive school, which is intended for children with severe and profound intellectual disabilities.
We wish nice movie moments in Viljandi!
