Image Wear donated footballs to junior players in Viljandi
One of Image Wear's sustainability goals for 2025 was to make a community donation in one of our operating locations. One of last year's donations was directed to Viljandi in Estonia, where we wanted to support opportunities for children and young people to stay active.
Viljandi JK Tulevik is a local football club whose men's first team competes in Estonia's third tier, the II League. The club does valuable work, especially in junior and youth football.
Well-used balls needed replacing
According to the club's Managing Director, Richard Reimaa, the greatest need was for new footballs, as those in active use wear out quickly. In response, Image Wear donated 20 new balls to Viljandi JK Tulevik.
The donation felt particularly significant also because the sons of two Image Wear employees working at our Viljandi offices play in the club. The new balls were received with great enthusiasm – the old ones had clearly seen better days.
For us, community donations are a tangible way to put our sustainability goals into practice and to support local wellbeing in the communities where we operate.
