Workwear and protective equipment to Ukraine

At the end of August, several pallets of unused workwear and protective equipment left us for Ukraine. The donation includes a wide range of clothing and safety gear, such as healthcare uniforms, winter and rain gear, high-visibility garments, gloves, safety glasses, and protective helmets.

Aid reaches healthcare personnel and young patients

The workwear and equipment will be used by, among others, volunteers, hospitals, healthcare personnel, and patients across Ukraine. Some of the clothing will also be delivered to children's wards in hospitals. The aim of the donations is to support daily life and work in challenging circumstances, while providing protection in demanding weather conditions and working environments.

The practical arrangements for the donations are handled by the Tuentuojat volunteer group, which sorts, records, and packs the products for transport. Part of the donation travels with Apua Ukrainaan Jyväskylä to Rivne, and part is delivered to hospitals with aid shipments from the Sota Ukrainassa volunteer group.

Long experience in humanitarian aid and well-established networks help ensure that the donated items quickly reach the people who need them most.
