With a DTF printer, logos also for online store purchases
Our Tampere printing department has received a powerful upgrade: a new DTF (Direct-to-Film) printer, which now enables us to produce high-quality logo prints on workwear purchased from our online store. This flexible and versatile technology offers even more possibilities for product personalisation – quickly and cost-effectively.
How does logo printing work in our online store?
Adding a logo print in our online store is easy. Simply choose the workwear item you want and add the desired logo print to it. If you order several different products, please remember to add the print to each product separately and in the same quantity as the items in your order. The logo can be placed on the chest and/or the back. Printing is possible on shirts, sweaters, jackets, coats, and vests. The delivery time for products with logos is approximately 6–8 working days.
What do we need for the print?
To ensure high-quality results, please provide the logo in vector format (AI, EPS or PDF). A JPEG is also acceptable if the logo contains gradients or is a photograph, as long as the resolution is at least 300 dpi. You can send the logo and any graphic guidelines by email to verkkokauppa@imagewear.fi . We will contact you if we need any clarifications before starting the printing process.
How does DTF printing work?
In DTF technology, the image is printed onto a transparent PET film using water-based pigment inks and a white backing ink. A special adhesive powder is applied to the film, which bonds with the ink and melts into it when heated. This creates a ready-to-use transfer image that is pressed onto the garment with a heat press. After removing the film, a clean, flexible and durable print remains on the surface.

Advantages of DTF printing
DTF printing works on almost all textile materials: cotton, polyester, blends, and even dark fabrics without pre-treatment. The print quality is precise, colours remain vibrant, and even multi-coloured or photo-like images are reproduced beautifully.
The prints withstand washing and wear very well, and the technique is cost-effective – no separate transfer papers or complex preparations are required. This also makes small print runs easy and efficient.
