When Image Wear Oy acts as the registrar, it collects and processes personal data in the ways mentioned in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy describes how Image Wear processes the personal data of the data subjects registered in the online store, what personal data Image Wear collects, for what purposes the data is used and to which parties the data can be disclosed, and how the data subject can influence the processing. The Privacy Policy also provides information about the obligations that Image Wear complies with when processing personal data.

In all processing of personal data, Image Wear complies with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) as well as other applicable data protection legislation and good data processing practices.

2.    PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is collected for a specific and legal purpose in order to fulfill the contractual obligations of the customer relationship; to manage customer relationships between partners; to produce, develop and maintain services; and for marketing.

Personal data will be collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and will not be used, modified, or transferred in any way other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

The processing of personal data is based on the consent given by the customer, the agreement between the parties, and/or Image Wear's legitimate interest in order to secure the profitability and continuity of its business.

The personal data of the persons registered by Image Wear's www.imagewear.fi online store is collected from the data subjects themselves.

Personal data is mainly processed by Image Wear's staff. Personal data can be disclosed and otherwise transferred between companies belonging to the same group as Image Wear for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

As a general rule, Image Wear does not disclose information to third parties or automatically to other partners. Image Wear can transfer data (first name, last name, phone number, email address, delivery address, or measurement data) to third-country partners with the consent of the data subject or, for example, to manufacture branded products, return rented clothing or otherwise fulfill contractual obligations (legitimate interest). If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA regions, an adequate level of personal data protection is ensured in accordance with the applicable legislation.

8.   DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

Personal data is stored in Image Wear's system, which is protected by the operating system's security software. The information network and the devices where the registers are located are protected by a firewall. Access to personal data and the right to use data by Image Wear's predefined Image Wear employees and Image Wear's separately defined partners. Devices with access to personal data are protected.

9.   RIGHT OF INSPECTION

The data subject has the right to check what data about them is stored in the registry. In addition, after a sufficiently precise and individualized request for an inspection, they shall have the right to be informed of the data concerning them and contained in the records. The inspection request must be addressed in writing, signed, to Image Wear's contact person, and in that connection, the person must prove their identity in a reliable way.

10.      RIGHT TO REQUEST CORRECTION AND DELETION OF DATA

Image Wear must correct incorrect information indicated by the data subject in the personal data register. Image Wear also has an obligation to check the accuracy and timeliness of the information in the register through self-directed activities.

11.      OTHER RIGHTS RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The data subject has the right to demand a restriction on the processing of personal data. The data subject shall also have the right to receive personal data concerning them which they have provided to Image Wear in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable form and the right to transfer such data to another data controller. In addition, the data subject has the right to object to data processing, automatic decision-making, and profiling. If the processing of personal data is based on the data subject's consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw the consent they have given. However, withdrawing consent may prevent the data subject from using Image Wear's services. The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, if they consider that their personal data has been processed in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU.

12.      DELETION AND RETENTION OF DATA

Image Wear deletes the data subject's data from the register when there is no longer a business reason for the processing of the data or if the data subject themselves, based on the law, require Image Wear to delete the data concerning them.

Electronic personal data is destroyed by overwriting, and personal data on paper is destroyed by proper disposal when there is no longer a basis for the processing or storing of the data. However, the data will not be deleted if the law stipulates otherwise or the competent authority has started a process that requires Image Wear to keep the data, or another party has applied for a security protection decision for the data from the competent authority.

13.      CHANGES

Image Wear has the right to change and update this Privacy Policy.
